WMU Voices of Faith (VOF): Empowering Preachers (Compelling Preaching by Lilly 4th)
The main purpose of Voices of Faith (VOF) will be to help pastors gain a deeper
understanding of what makes preaching compelling for various audiences and in different contexts, assist pastors in engaging in practices and developing skills and competencies that will make their preaching more compelling
Why Does it Matter?
In order to enhance the preaching skills of preachers, it is necessary to engage in study and practice of text analysis, preaching style, application, delivery, audience analysis, sermon composition, the role of the preacher, and the theology of preaching.
